Shawnee’s a little village in Ohio, Located between Columbus and Marietta, the town is in the hart of the Wayne National Forest. Back in the day, like the late 1800s and early 1900s, it was a real boomtown because of coal mining. Lots of folks from all over came to work in the mines, and the town got super lively with shops, theaters, the whole shebang. After mining ended the town rapidly declined. People still live and work there but the downtown looks more like a ghost town these days.
