The Ann Starrett Mansion stands in the town of Port Townsend, Washington. The house was built in 1889 by businessman and contractor George Starrett for his wife Ann. The couple lived the home for twenty years raising their raising their only child Edwin with he help of a nanny and two servants. The home is now a bed and breakfast welcoming guests to spend a night in the ornate house. As with many old houses with prominent families it is said to be haunted by the spirit of the Sarretts and their Nanny. I am not sure if it is but if I were a ghost it sure seems like a beautiful place to spend eternity.
